Project Overview

The Ten Years of Terror project was conceived by Brad Evans and Simon Critchley. Offering a timely and critical frame on the 10th anniversary of the events of September 11th 2001, the directors invited critical reflections from a number of celebrated scholars & public intellectuals.

Our filmed symposium consisted of a series of lectures/in-depth reflections on the 10th anniversary. Among our participants included Noam Chomsky, Saskia Sassen, Michael Hardt, Mary Kaldor, Michael Shapiro, Simon Critchley, Zygmunt Bauman, Todd May, Brian Massumi, J. Peter Burgess and Cynthia Weber, to name a few

We were honoured that our Ten Years of Terror’s film was selected for screening at the Solomon Guggenheim Museum in New York on September 9th, 12th, and 13th, 2011. The screenings were followed by Q&A sessions with the directors Brad Evans & Simon Critchley.
